Manoj Borkar is a seasoned finance and private equity professional with over 28 years of experience, having served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer at IIML.

He has played a key role in structuring funds across jurisdictions including Singapore, Mauritius, Cyprus, and India, and was part of the fundraising team that successfully raised over USD 3 billion. Manoj has worked extensively on legal documentation, investment due diligence, and has liaised closely with leading domestic and international law firms.

He began his journey at IL&FS in the accounting department, advanced to operations, and later worked as Executive Assistant to the Director (Finance). He was instrumental in securing a $250 million line of credit for infrastructure financing and contributed to setting up joint ventures, SPVs, and MIS/accounting systems.

He has also served as a nominee director on various investee companies and JVs.

Manoj holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Bombay University and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
